My Story

Before I began offering professional coaching services full-time, I spent the majority of my career in the hospitality and leisure industries. I started my hospitality experience at the age of 17 working in a hotel as part of the Front Desk Department and then trained and moved into the hotel lounge as a bartender. I held numerous bartender and server jobs during my college years. Twenty-six years ago, I began working for a cruise ship casino concessionaire as a cashier.  I held a variety of positions leading to on-board management. In 1991, I then became the Manager of Casinos Operations for Kloster Cruse Ltd., a parent company that owned and operated Royal Viking and Royal Cruise Line. In 1994, Adam Aron, a respected leader in the travel and leisure industries, promoted me to Director of Casino Operations and expanded my responsibilities to Norwegian Cruise Line Casinos. I was responsible for creating an expanded corporate department as we took over the casino operations from an outside concessionaire. We had a total responsibility of 12 individual casinos on 3 different cruise lines and a staff of 200 people. I had also developed a home-based travel sales agency that catered to cruises and packaged tours. I have held various positions for financial and casino equipment sales, owned 2 professional and audio music stores, was a cruise ship Art Auctioneer, and a consultant for resort casinos. 

When I first entered the workforce, I loved it. My job was in an exciting industry and I had the opportunity to travel the world and be exposed to working for many diverse nationalities. Even though I was very successful in my career, I grew tired of the politics and how hard it was to get things done. Over time and through new family commitments, I changed career directions and entered the business coaching services industry. I had many challenges to face personally and in my new career choices. I had both successes and learning opportunities in which to grow from. The September 11 tragedy and a family break up inspired me to move from Florida to Colorado to begin again. I decided to set out on a new career path and offer professional business coaching services. My direction included being able to use my past accumulated business experience to help others achieve their own business success through professional coaching. My passion always lied with assisting my direct reports and employees with problem solving and maximizing their job performance. I discovered professional coaching while at a local book store. I truly felt this career was meant for me.  Instead of just calling myself a coach, I decided to enroll in a coaching university, to become educated in offering professional coaching and earn the requirements necessary for certification. 

I now have my dream job. I am happy and on a path of my own personal fulfillment through helping others become successful in their businesses, professional careers, and in life. By offering business coaching services, I have been able to help others achieve their personal and professional goals.
